Component 3E's stress on Adaptation and Flexibility carries over to Component 4A, Reflecting On Teaching. While Component 3E happens during the lesson, Component 4A takes place after the lesson has been completed, by the teacher asking themselves about how their lesson went for not only themselves, but for the students as well.
This reflection is important because it is impossible for the teacher to remember from year to year how they should edit the lesson, so to show that they are actively practicing a reflection in their lesson, they can make a "Reflections" section at the end of the lesson plan, write on the attendance sheet the what methods worked for which students, or have the students submit a reflection/ review at the end of each lesson as an attendance document. The two components in Component 4A includes: 1. Accuracy and 2. Use in future teaching.
