The artifact for component 1C is the Infographic, Piktochart. An Infographic is, basically, an eye-catching online presentation that the children may access as well. Piktochart, the Infographic that I used, is one of my personal favorites. The creator simply creates an account, selects the mint green button in the top right corner that says "Create New". After clicking this the creator can decide if they want to create an infographic, presentation, or a printable worksheet. If Infographic is chosen, the creator may then chose the style of Piktochart, and edit aspects such as text, pictures, and the background.
Piktochart easily fits into the Danielson style of teaching because teachers can meet ISTE standards, show evidence of the 4C's, manage the classroom, and continue to get to know how the students learn through this software. Piktochart fits very well into Component 1E, designing coherent instruction, through way of creativity and easiness to comprehend. The clear set up of the Piktochart allows students to pick up the important aspects of each key point and supplement a picture to help with memorization.
If I could change one aspect of my Piktochart I would have liked to learn how the program edits the pictures that are uploaded to take away the white boarders from two of the pictures (Judicial and District Court). I absolutely loved that Piktochart does not make the creator design their own Infographics if they do not feel competent enough to make their own. Overall, there were so many great features I enjoyed when creating this artifact. This experience relate to SAMR model because this online student accessible presentation would replace (R) handout given during class or to take home. At any other point in time this technology would not have been possible!
